El 26 de marzo, Petro hab\u00eda anunciado que tomar\u00eda la medida si Israel no respetaba la tregua durante el mes de Ramad\u00e1n.<\/span><\/p>\n

E<\/span><\/span>l 1 de mayo, en el acto por el D\u00eda Internacional de los Trabajadores, el presidente de Colombia, Gustavo Petro, anunci\u00f3 la ruptura de las relaciones con Israel en rechazo a la continuidad del ataque a Palestina.<\/span><\/p>\n

Petro expres\u00f3 que “se romper\u00e1n las relaciones diplom\u00e1ticas con el Estado de Israel por tener un presidente genocida”. “No puede volver la \u00e9poca del genocidio, del exterminio de un pueblo entero ante nuestros ojos”, a\u00f1adi\u00f3 el mandatario frente a miles de manifestantes en las calles de Bogot\u00e1.<\/span><\/p>\n

Seg\u00fan un <\/span>comunicado<\/span><\/a><\/span> de la Canciller\u00eda de Colombia \u201cse coordinar\u00e1 el procedimiento y los tiempos para la salida del personal diplom\u00e1tico\u201d, aunque el alcance de las medidas tras la ruptura de relaciones no ser\u00e1n expresadas p\u00fablicamente.<\/span><\/p>\n

La decisi\u00f3n fue criticada por el canciller israel\u00ed, Israel Katz, a trav\u00e9s de su cuenta de <\/span>X<\/span><\/a><\/span>: \u201cLa Historia recordar\u00e1 que Gustavo Petro decidi\u00f3 ponerse del lado de los monstruos m\u00e1s despreciables conocidos por la humanidad”.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
