La Reserva Federal de Estados Unidos aument\u00f3 la tasa de referencia en 0,25 puntos llev\u00e1ndolas del 5% al 5,25%, la m\u00e1s alta desde el 2007.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

L<\/span>a decisi\u00f3n fue tomada el mi\u00e9rcoles 3 de mayo en un contexto de alza inflacionaria en el pa\u00eds. Es la d\u00e9cima suba de tasas consecutiva de la FED desde marzo de 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n

Luego de la noticia de la medida adoptada por la Reserva Federal, los principales \u00edndices burs\u00e1tiles en la bolsa de Wall Street cayeron entre el 0,5% y el 1%.<\/span><\/p>\n

A pesar de la reacci\u00f3n del mercado, el presidente del banco de la FED de Nueva York, John Williams, asegur\u00f3 que se seguir\u00e1n tomando este tipo de medidas si el contexto inflacionario en EE.UU., contin\u00faa. “No hemos dicho que hayamos terminado, si es apropiado un endurecimiento adicional de la pol\u00edtica, lo haremos”, asegur\u00f3 en un evento celebrado por el Club Econ\u00f3mico de Nueva York.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
